I presented my principal with a copy of the copyright guidelines for students created for an assignment for class. Her reaction was very motivational to me. She was visibly happy that I again presented her with material which she said will be useful.
She asked me to sit and we had a discussion on the topic of copyright. She expressed concern regarding staff and students copying entire books for use in school and thanked me for having the forsight and initiative to create such a document. I explained to her that it was part of an assignment I had to complete so I could not take all the credit.
She recommended in writing that copies should be made and circulated to students, posted in the library and on the notice boards. By her reaction I concluded that she was pleased with my effort and found the finished product useful.
